Abstract  【Objective】To explore the clinical value of traditional Chinese medicine decoction combined with bloodletting in the treatment of acute gouty arthritis. 【Methods】 A total of 114 patients with acute gouty arthritis admitted to our hospital from February 2018 to October 2019 were selected and randomly divided into observation group(n=57) and control group(n=57) according to admission sequence parity method. The control group was treated with etoscoxib, while the observation group was treated with self-made traditional Chinese medicine decoction combined with bloodletting on the basis of the control group. After 7 days of treatment, erythrocyte sedimentation rate(ESR), serum uric acid(UA) and inflammatory factor levels, joint swelling pain score and clinical efficacy were compared between the two groups before and after treatment. 【Results】 The total effective rate of the observation group was 94.74%(54/57), which was higher than 75.44%(43/57) of the control group(P<0.05); After treatment, the joint swelling and pain scores, ESR and UA levels, interleukin-6(IL-6) and interleukin-1(IL-1) of the two groups were compared β( IL-1 β) And C-reactive protein(CRP) levels decreased compared with before treatment(P<0.05), and the observation group decreased more significantly than the control group(P<0.05). 【Conclusion】Self made traditional Chinese medicine decoction combined with bloodletting in the treatment of patients with acute gouty arthritis can reduce the level of serum inflammatory factors, relieve the clinical symptoms of patients, with good clinical efficacy.
