Abstract:【Objective】 To compare the clinical effects of transradial and transfemoral approaches in digital subtraction angiography (DSA) and cerebral artery stenting. 【Methods】 A total of 118 patients who underwent cerebral DSA and cerebral artery stenting in our hospital from March 2023 to March 2024 were enrolled and divided into the observation group (61 cases, transradial approach) and the control group (57 cases, transfemoral approach) according to different access routes. Operation time, puncture time, postoperative recovery time, contrast medium dosage, fluoroscopy time, success rates of puncture and cerebral angiography, image acquisition parameters and incidence of complications were compared between the two groups. 【Results】 There was no significant difference in contrast medium dosage between the two groups (P>0.05). The observation group had shorter operation time, puncture time and postoperative recovery time but longer fluoroscopy time than the control group (P<0.05). The success rate of cerebral angiography was higher while the puncture success rate was lower in the observation group (P<0.05). No statistically significant differences were found in CD, DAP, cine DAP, fluoroscopic DAP and frame number between two groups (P>0.05). The incidence of complications in the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group (P<0.05). 【Conclusions】 Compared with the transfemoral approach, the transradial approach has no obvious influence on the dosage of contrast medium. It can shorten operation, puncture and postoperative recovery time, achieve higher angiography success rate and lower complication risk.
