Abstract:【Objective】 To investigate the effect of intracranial vascular intervention on elderly patients with ischemic cerebrovascular disease (ICVD) and its influence on the neurological function. 【Methods】A total of 70 elderly patients with ICVD who received intracranial vascular interventional therapy were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group, with 35 cases in each group. The control group received traditional drug therapy, and the observation group received intracranial vascular interventional therapy on the basis of the control group. The hemodynamics, hemorheology, neurological deficit score (NDS), National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) score and the occurrence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups before and after treatment. 【Results】After treatment, the changes of hemodynamics and hemorheology indexes in the observation group were significantly better than those in the control group (P<0.05), and the scores of NDS and NIHSS were significantly lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). After treatment, there was no significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups (P>0.05).【Conclusion】Intracranial vascular interventional therapy can effectively improve the efficacy and neurological function of elderly patients with ICVD without increasing the risk of adverse reactions.
