Abstract:【Objective】To investigate the levels and significance of serum acute amyloid A (A-SAA), soluble leptin receptor (sLR) and soluble intercellular adhesion molecule (sICAM-1) in patients with Behcet's disease (BD). 【Methods】A total of 80 BD patients (the observation group) treated in our hospital were selected, and 80 healthy volunteers were selected as the control group. The serum A-SAA, sLR and sICAM-1 levels were measured between the two groups. 【Results】Serum A-SAA and sICAM-1 in the observation group were (117.81±34.49) mg/L and (171.18±32.28) μg/L, respectively, which were significantly higher than those in the control group (P<0.05), while the level of sLR was (70.02±21.12) ng/mL, which was significantly lower than that in the control group (P<0.05). There were no significant difference in serum A-SAA, sLR and sICAM-1 among patients of different sex, age and course of disease in the observation group (P>0.05). The serum sLR of the patients with joint involvement in the observation group was (56.68±20.16) ng/mL, which was significantly lower than that of the patients without joint involvement (P<0.05). After treatment, serum A-SAA and sICAM-1 in the observation group were significantly lower than those before treatment (P<0.05), while sLR was significantly higher than those before treatment (P<0.05). 【Conclusion】Serum A-SAA and sICAM-1 in BD patients increase significantly, while sLR decrease significantly, which may play a role in the occurrence and development of disease. The sLR level may be related to joint involvement.
