Abstract:【Objective】 To investigate the clinical effect of compound polyethanol electrolyte powder on intestinal preparation before colon esophageal replacement. 【Methods】 A total of 106 patients with colon replacement esophagus was randomly divided into observation group and control group, with 53 cases in each group. The control group was given magnesium sulfate orally for intestinal preparation, and the observation group was given compound polyethylene glycol electrolyte powder for intestinal preparation. The intestinal cleanliness, adverse reactions, complications and patient satisfaction were compared between the two groups.【Results】The cleanliness scores of left colon, transverse colon, right colon and whole intestinal cavity in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). The total incidence of abdominal distension and other adverse reactions in the observation group was 18.87% (10/53), which was significantly lower than 43.40% (23/53) in the control group (P<0.05); The total incidence of incision infection and other complications in the observation group was 11.32% (6/53), which was significantly lower than 28.30% (15/53) in the control group (P<0.05). The satisfaction of patients in the observation group was 96.23% (51/53), which was significantly higher than 84.91% (45/53) in the control group (P<0.05). 【Conclusion】 Compound polyethanol electrolyte powder for intestinal preparation is helpful to improve intestinal cleanliness, reduce the incidence of complications and adverse reactions, and enhance patient satisfaction.
