Abstract:【Objective】To explore the effect of health education with feed-back method on cognition, compliance behavior and prognosis of pregnant women with gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM).【Methods】From January 2016 to December 2017, 106 GDM patients were randomly divided into two groups: the observation group (health education by feedback method) and the control group (routine health education), 53 cases in each group. After 12 weeks of intervention, the level of disease knowledge, compliance behavior, blood glucose index changes and maternal and infant outcomes were compared between the two groups.【Results】After 12 weeks of intervention, the awareness rate of disease knowledge and compliance of health behavior in the observation group were significantly higher than that in the control group (P<0.05). The levels of fasting blood glucose, 2 hours postprandial blood glucose and HbA1c in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). The incidence of pregnancy hypertension, late abortion, premature delivery, postpartum hemorrhage and puerperal infection in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group (P<0.05).【Conclusion】Feed-back health education can enhance the cognition level of GDM patients, improve the compliance behavior, improve the effect of blood glucose control, and improve the prognosis of mothers and infants.
