Abstract:【Objective】 To investigate cytokines' expression and regulation of peripheral immune injury in patients with lupus nephritis (LN). 【Methods】A total of 56 patients with LN were selected as the observation group. LN patients were divided into the active group (≥10 points) and the stable group (<10 points) based on the results of the measurements using systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) Disease Activity Scale. At the same time period, 34 healthy volunteers who admitted to our hospital for physical examination were enrolled as the control group. The levels of HMGB1, anti-C1q antibody, anti-AnuA antibody, CD3+, CD4+, CD8+ and ratio of CD4+/CD8+ in each group were determined. The correlations of blood HMGB1, anti-C1q and anti-AnuA level with T lymphocyte level were analyzed by SPSS Pearson analysis software.【Results】The levels of HMGB1, anti-C1q antibody and anti-AnuA antibody in LN active sub-group were higher than those in LN stable sub-group (P<0.05). The levels of CD3+, CD4+ and CD4+/CD8+ in LN active sub-group were lower than those in LN stable sub-group in observation group. The stable group (P<0.05), while the CD8+ level in the active sub-group was higher than that in the stable sub-group (P<0.05). SPSS Pearson correlation analysis showed that HMGB1, anti-C1q and anti-AnuA antibodies were negatively correlated with CD3+, CD4+ and CD4+/ CD8+ in LN patients (P<0.05),while they were positively correlated with CD8+ level (P<0.05). 【Conclusion】Blood HMGB1, anti-C1q antibody and anti-AnuA antibody are highly expressed in LN patients. HMGB1, anti-C1q antibody and anti-AnuA antibody have a correlation with T lymphocyte levels, which can participate in the occurrence and development of lupus nephritis.
