Abstract:【Objective】 To explore the effect of comprehensive nursing based on the health belief model on self-management ability and health belief in patients with gestational hypertension. 【Methods】 A total of 180 patients with gestational hypertension admitted to our hospital from May to December 2025 were enrolled and divided into the control group (receiving routine nursing intervention) and the observation group (receiving comprehensive nursing intervention based on health belief model) according to the admission time, with 90 cases in each group. The blood pressure [systolic blood pressure (SBP), diastolic blood pressure (DBP)], emotional status [Generalized Anxiety Disorder-7 (GAD-7) score, Patient Health Questionnaire-9 (PHQ-9) score], self-management ability [Hypertension Patients Self-Management Behavior Rating Scale (HPSMBRS) score] and health belief [Health Belief Model Scale (HBMS) score] were compared between the two groups. 【Results】 After intervention, the levels of SBP, DBP, GAD-7 score and PHQ-9 score in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05), while the scores of all dimensions of HPSMBRS and HBMS in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). 【Conclusion】 Comprehensive nursing based on the health belief model can improve blood pressure status, relieve anxiety and depression, enhance self-management ability and strengthen health belief in patients with gestational hypertension.
