| The Effects of Laparoscopic Ovarian Cystectomy on Ovarian Function, Inflammatory Factors and T Lymphocyte Subsets |

Abstract 【Objective】To explore the effects of laparoscopic ovarian cystectomy on ovarian function, inflammatory factors, and T lymphocyte subsets in patients. 【Methods】A total of 76 patients with ovarian cysts admitted to the gynecology department of our hospital from January 2019 to January 2023 were selected and divided into a control group and an observation group based on different surgical methods, with 38 cases in each group. The control group underwent open ovarian cystectomy, while the observation group underwent laparoscopic ovarian cystectomy. Ovarian function [estradiol (E2), follicle stimulating hormone (FSH), luteinizing hormone (LH)], inflammatory factors [interleukin-6 (IL-6), tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α), C-reactive protein (CRP)], and T lymphocyte subsets (CD3+, CD4+, and CD4+/CD8+) before and after surgery were compared between the two groups. 【Results】FSH and LH increased in both groups 3 months after surgery, but the observation group was lower than the control group (P<0.05); E2 levels decreased in both groups 3 months after surgery, but the observation group was higher than the control group (P<0.05). The postoperative levels of IL-6, TNF-α, and CRP in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). There was no statistically significant difference in preoperative CD4+ and CD4+/CD8+ between the two groups of patients (P>0.05).On the 1st day after surgery, the serum CD3+, CD4+, CD4+/CD8+ levels in both groups of patients were significantly lower than before surgery, but the observation group was higher than the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The serum CD3+, CD4+, CD4+/CD8+ levels in the observation group patients returned to preoperative levels 3 days after surgery. 【Conclusion】Laparoscopic ovarian cyst removal surgery can effectively promote the recovery of ovarian function in patients, reduce the body's inflammatory response, increase the level of T lymphocyte subsets, and alleviate the suppression of cellular immune function, which is beneficial for postoperative recovery of patients.
