Abstract  【Objective】To explore the clinical effect of compound glycyrrhizic acid glycoside combined with tacrolimus in the treatment of children with allergic purpura nephritis. 【Methods】A total of 88 children with allergic purpura nephritis admitted to our hospital from January 2020 to January 2023 were selected and randomly divided into an observation group and a control group using a random number table method, with 44 cases in each group. The control group was treated with compound glycyrrhizic acid glycoside, while the observation group was treated with compound glycyrrhizic acid glycoside combined with tacrolimus. The treatment time for both groups was 2 months. Two groups of children were compared in terms of renal function indicators [immunoglobulin G (lgG), immunoglobulin A (lgA)], inflammatory factors [interleukin-6 (IL-6), tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)], oxidative stress indicators [malondialdehyde (MDA), superoxide dismutase (SOD)], and incidence of adverse reactions. 【Results】After treatment, the levels of lgG and lgA in both groups were lower than before treatment, and the observation group was lower than the control group, with a statistically significant difference (P<0.05); The serum levels of IL-6 and TNF-α in the two groups were lower than before treatment, and the observation group was lower than the control group, with statistical significance (P<0.05). The clinical effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). 【Conclusion】The combination of compound glycyrrhizic acid glycoside and tacrolimus can improve renal function and alleviate inflammatory reactions in children with allergic purpura nephritis. The clinical treatment effect is good, and the incidence of adverse reactions is low. It is worth promoting and applying.
