Effects of Sini Powder Combined with Fluoxetine on Memory Function and Levels of Serum IL-10 and IL-1β in Female Patients with Anxiety Disorder |

Abstract 【Objective】To investigate the effect of Sini Powder combined with fluoxetine on memory function in female patients with anxiety disorders. 【Methods】From February 2018 to April 2020, 106 female anxiety patients in our hospital were selected and divided into the observation group (n=53) and the control group (n=53) according to the random number table. The control group was given fluoxetine, and the observation group was given Sini powder combined with fluoxetine, both were treated for 2 months. The efficacy, the scores of Hamilton Anxiety Scale (HAMA), Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) and Wechsler Memory Scale (WMS-RC), event-related potential P300 (amplitude and latency of N2 and P3), serum neurotransmitter indexes [dopamine (DA), norepinephrine (NE), serotonin (5-HT)], IL -10, and IL-1β level before treatment, 1 month and 2 months after treatment of the two groups were compared. 【Results】The total effective rate of the observation group (92.45%, 49/53) was higher than that of the control group (75.47%, 40/53) after 2 months of treatment; and there was biostatistics significance (P<0.05). The HAMA and PSQI scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group after 1 month and 2 months of treatment (P<0.05).The instantaneous memory, short-term memory, long-term memory, and memory quotient scores of the observation group were higher than those of the control group after 1 month and 2 months of treatment (P<0.05). The serum IL-10 and IL-1β levels in the observation group were lower than those in the control group after 1 month and 2 months of treatment (P<0.05). 【Conclusion】Sini powder combined with fluoxetine has a significant effect on the treatment of female anxiety. It is helpful to correct central neurotransmitter disorders, relieve anxiety, improve memory function, and improve sleep quality.
