Abstract  【Objective】To investigate the serum levels and clinical significance of chemokine L20 (CCL20) and heat shock protein 70 (HSP70) in patients with gastric cancer. 【Methods】A total of 92 patients with gastric cancer were selected as the gastric cancer group and 100 healthy volunteers were selected as the control group. Serum levels of CCL20 and HSP70 were measured and compared between the two groups. The correlation between serum CCL20 level and HSP70 level in patients with gastric cancer was also analyzed. 【Results】The serum levels of CCL20 and HSP70 in the gastric cancer group were (44.12±9.47) pg/ml and (2.40±0.65) pg/L, respectively, which were significantly higher than those in control group (P<0.05). The serum CCL20 and HSP70 levels in patients with stage Ⅲ~Ⅳ, lymph node metastasis and HP-positive gastric cancer were significantly higher than those in gastric cancer patients with stage Ⅰ~Ⅱ, no lymph node metastasis and HP-negative infection (P<0.05). The level of serum CCL20 was positively correlated with the level of HSP70 (r=0.433,P<0.05). 【Conclusion】The serum levels of CCL20 and HSP70 are significantly increased in patients with gastric cancer, which are related to clinical stage, lymph node metastasis and HP infection.
