Abstract 【Objective】To investigate the relationship of plasma bacterial lipopolysac-charide (LPS) level with tumor necrosis factor (TNF alpha), interleukin 6 (IL - 6) and interleukin 8 (IL - 8) in plasma dialysis patients. 【Methods】A total of 72 plasma dialysis patients admitted to our hospital from June 2018 to June 2020 were selected as blood dialysis group, in the same period, 42 healthy physical examination volunteers were selected as the control group. Levels of plasma LPS TNF-α, IL-6 and IL-8 were measured in patients of both groups. Pearson linear correlation analysis was used to analyze the relationship of LPS with TNF-α, IL-6 and IL-8 levels. 【Results】 Levels of LPS, TNF-alpha, IL-6 and IL-8 in the plasma dialysis group were significantly higher than those in the healthy control group (P<0.05). Pearson correlation analysis showed that LPS was positively correlated with TNF-α and IL-8 levels in plasma dialysis patients (P<0.05). There was no correlation between LPS and IL-6 in plasma dialysis patients (P>0.05). 【Conclusion】LPS, TNF-alpha and IL-8 levels in plasma dialysis patients were higher than those in normal subjects, and LPS level increases with levels of TNF-alpha and IL-8.
