Effect of Bushen Jianpi Antai Decoction Combined with Didroxyprogesterone Tablets on Maternal and Infant Outcome and Quality of Life in Elderly Threatened Abortion with Kidney Deficiency in Early Pregnancy

Abstract 【Objective】To explore the effect of Bushen Jianpi Antai decoction combined with didroxyprogesterone tablets on maternal and infant outcome and quality of life in elderly threatened abortion with kidney deficiency in early pregnancy. 【Methods 】 A total of 114 elderly threatened abortion pregnant women with kidney deficiency diagnosed and treated in Beijing integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine hospital from February 2018 to November 2019 was randomly divided into control group and observation group, with 57 cases in each group. The control group was treated with didroxyprogesterone tablets, and the observation group was treated with Bushen Jianpi Antai Decoction on the basis of the control group. The curative effects, hormone levels, maternal and infant outcomes and quality of life of the two groups were compared. 【Results】The total effective rate in the observation group was 89.47% (51/57), which was significantly higher than 70.18% (40/57) in the control group(χ2=6.591,P=0.01). Before treatment, there was no significant difference in E2, HCG and P levels between the two groups (P>0.05); After treatment, the levels of E2, HCG and P in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). The full-term pregnancy rate in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group (P<0.05); However, there was no significant difference in preterm birth rate and abortion rate between the two groups (P>0.05). After treatment, the scores of mental health, emotional role, physical function, social function, health status, vitality, body pain and physical role in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). 【Conclusion 】 Bushen Jianpi Antai decoction combined with didroxyprogesterone tablets can significantly alleviate the clinical symptoms of elderly threatened abortion pregnant women with kidney deficiency in early pregnancy, tonify the kidney and spleen, nourish blood and Qi, and improve the hormone level, full-term productivity and quality of life of patients. It is worthy of clinical application.
