Abstract 【Objective】To investigate the expression of interleukin-17 (IL-17) in patients with recurrent abortion (RSA) and its correlation with the expression of anticardiolipin antibody (ACA).【Methods】From December 2016 to March 2017, 46 RSA patients under 35 years old were selected for diagnosis and treatment in our reproductive clinic, including 20 ACA positive patients (ACA positive group) and 26 ACA negative patients (control group). The serum levels of IL-17 and ACA were detected by ELISA, and the correlation between them was analyzed. 【Results】The serum level of IL-17 in ACA positive group was (41.9 ± 5.5) pg / ml, which was significantly higher than that in the control group (32.1 ± 4.3) pg/mL, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Pearson correlation analysis showed that serum IL-17 level was positively correlated with ACA expression in RSA patients.【Conclusion】The increase of IL-17 in peripheral blood is one of the immune abnormalities in RSA patients with ACA positive, which may be involved in the immune mechanism of ACA induced abortion.
