Expression and Significance of Serum Gastrin, Motilin and Leptin in Patients with Gastroesophageal Reflux after Esophageal Cancer Stent Implantation |

Abstract 【Objective】To investigate the expression and significance of serum gastrin (GAS), motilin (MTL) and leptin (LEP) in patients with gastroesophageal reflux after esophageal cancer stent implantation. 【Methods】The clinical data of 214 patients with esophageal cancer who received stent implantation in our hospital from January 2019 to January 2022 were analyzed retrospectively. General data such as serum GAS, MTL and LEP were collected to analyze the occurrence of postoperative gastroesophageal reflux. Single factor and multi factor logistic regression were used to analyze the risk factors of secondary gastroesophageal reflux after esophageal cancer stent implantation. 【Results】Gastroesophageal reflux after esophageal cancer stent implantation was significantly correlated with hyperlipidemia history, low semi sitting position, high sugar and high fat diet, regular drinking of strong tea, moderate exercise, taking NSAIDs, constipation and serum GAS, MTL, LEP (P<0.05). The history of hyperlipidemia, high sugar and high-fat diet, regular drinking of strong tea, taking NSAIDs, constipation, preoperative GAS<108.00 pg/mL, preoperative MTL<213.28 pg/mL, and preoperative LEP ≥ 15.24 ng/mL were independent risk factors for gastroesophageal reflux after esophageal cancer stent implantation (P<0.05); Sleeping posture in low semi sitting position and proper exercise were independent protective factors for postoperative gastroesophageal reflux (P<0.05). 【Conclusion】 The serum GAS, MTL and LEP are closely related to the secondary gastroesophageal reflux after esophageal cancer stent implantation. The abnormal decrease of serum GAS, MTL and the abnormal increase of serum LEP are independent risk factors for the secondary gastroesophageal reflux after esophageal cancer stent implantation, which is worthy of clinical verification.
