Abstract:【Objective】To explore the application effect of dyspnea-graded rehabilitation (respiratory difficulty level rehabilitation) training in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). 【Methods】 A total of 113 COPD patients who were treated in our hospital from January 2022 to December 2024 were selected as the research subjects. They were divided into the control group (n=56, receiving routine care) and the observation group (n=57, receiving respiratory difficulty level rehabilitation care) according to the random number table method. The pulmonary function indicators [forced vital capacity (FVC), forced expiratory volume in one second (FEV1), FEV1/FVC], 6-minute walking test distance (6MWD), modified Medical Research Council respiratory difficulty grading (mMRC) score, negative emotions [Hamilton Anxiety Scale (HAMA), Hamilton Depression Scale (HAMD)], self-management behavior [Obstructive Sleep Apnea Syndrome Self-Management Behavior Questionnaire], and quality of life [Quality of Life Comprehensive Evaluation Questionnaire (GQOLI-74)] were compared between the two groups before and one month after nursing. 【Results】After nursing, the FVC, FEV1, and FEV1/FVC of the observation group were higher than those of the control group (P<0.05), and the 6MWD was longer than that of the control group (P<0.05). After nursing, the HAMA score, HAMD score, and mMRC score of the observation group were lower than those of the control group (P<0.05), while the scores of each dimension of the OSAS self-management behavior questionnaire and the scores of each dimension of quality of life were higher than those of the control group (P<0.05). 【Conclusion】Applying respiratory difficulty level rehabilitation care to COPD patients can effectively improve the pulmonary function indicators and respiratory conditions of patients, relieve negative emotions, thereby improving patients' self-management behavior and quality of life, and it is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
