Abstract:【Objective】 To investigate the prognostic prediction value of combined serum D-dimer (D-D), procalcitonin (PCT), fasting blood glucose (FBG), and computed tomography severity index (CTSI) score in patients with acute pancreatitis (AP).【Methods】 A total of 102 patients with AP were enrolled and divided into two groups based on clinical outcomes: a favorable prognosis group (n=90) and a poor prognosis group (n=12). Clinical data were compared between the groups. Logistic multivariate regression analysis was used to identify factors associated with poor prognosis, and receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves were used to evaluate predictive performance.【Results】 Levels of D-D, PCT, FBG, and CTSI score were significantly higher in the poor prognosis group than in the favorable prognosis group (all P<0.05). Logistic regression analysis indicated that elevated D-D, PCT, FBG, and CTSI score were independent risk factors for poor prognosis in AP patients (all P<0.05). ROC analysis showed that combined detection of D-D, PCT, FBG, and CTSI score had superior predictive value compared to each marker alone (all P<0.05).【Conclusion】 Patients with poor prognosis in AP exhibit higher levels of D-D, PCT, FBG, and CTSI scores. Combined detection of these markers significantly enhances the accuracy of prognostic assessment in AP and provides a valuable evidence for early clinical intervention.
