Abstract:【Objective】 To explore the correlation between rotavirus (RV) infectious diarrhea and atmospheric environment in children under 5 years old in Xi'an. 【Methods】The clinical data of hospitalized children with positive stool routine RV and/or adenovirus (AV) in Xi'an children's Hospital from January 2017 to January 2019 were analyzed retrospectively, and the Stool RV and adenovirus detection of children in Xi'an from 2017 to 2019 were analyzed, The monthly air data were obtained from Xi'an ecological environment bureau to statistically analyze the correlation between air pollutant particles and RV and AV infection in children. 【Results】There were more males than females in children with positive RV test in Xi'an. The age was mainly under 3 years old, most of them were 1~3 years old. Neonatal RV infection showed an upward trend, as shown in Table 1. AV positive children aged 1~3 years were the most common, showing an upward trend. The monthly concentrations of NO2, PM10, SO2 and PM2.5 in Xi'an were significantly positively correlated with RV infection in hospitalized children every month (Mean P<0.05). 【Conclusion 】RV infection is mainly found in children under 3 years old in Xi'an. Air pollution particles may aggravate the occurrence of RV infectious diarrhea.
