Abstract:【Objective】To explore the related factors of the effect of maintenance hemodialysis (MHD) on the quality of life and sleep of end-stage uremic patients.【Methods】Two hundred patients with end-stage uremia in our hospital from June 2015 to December 2018 were selected as the study subjects. All patients received MHD treatment. Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) was used to evaluate the sleep quality of patients, SF-36 was used to evaluate the quality of life of patients, general data of patients and related disease factors were collected, and logistic multiple regression analysis was used to analyze the related factors of sleep quality of patients.【Results】Among 200 patients in this study, 138 had poor sleep, the incidence of which was 69.00%. By univariate analysis, there were significant differences in sex composition, age, marriage, work, albumin level, whether to drink tea, whether to take sleeping pills, whether to take anxiety and depression (all P<0.05). Among them, taking sleeping pills, drinking tea, anxiety and depression were significant differences. The SF-36 score of patients was (53.58±10.97). There were significant differences in the quality of life of patients with different ages, educational levels and vascular access (P<0.05). Age and vascular access were independent factors influencing the quality of life of patients (P<0.05).【Conclusion】MHD has adverse effects on the quality of life and sleep of end-stage uremia patients. Effective interventions should be taken clinically to improve the quality of sleep and life of patients.
