Abstract:【Objective】To compare the effects of adjustable sodium curve and sequential dialysis on the treatment of end-stage renal disease (ESRD) with refractory hypertension (RH) and their effects on left ventricular function. 【Methods】A total of 40 cases of patients with ESRD and RT were randomly divided into an adjustable sodium curve group (A group) and a sequential dialysis group (B group), with 20 cases in each. The levels of C reactive protein (CRP), IL-6, TNF- α, angiotensin II (Ang II), systolic blood pressure (SBP), diastolic blood pressure (DBP), mean arterial pressure (MAP), left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF), left ventricular mass index (LVMI), and left ventricular end diastolic diameter (LVEDd) in both groups were determined before dialysis and 3 months after dialysis. 【Results】After dialysis, the levels of Ang II, CRP, IL-6, TNF-α ; MAP, SBP, DBP, LVMI, and LVEDd of group A were lower than those of group B (P<0.05). The LVEF of group A was higher than that of group B (P<0.05). 【Conclusion】 The curative effects of ESRD with RH and the improvements of left ventricular function in patients receiving adjustable sodium curve are superior to sequential dialysis treatment.
