Abstract:【Objective】 To investigate the effect of hyperbaric oxygen combined with lower extremity rehabilitation robot assisted training on the lower limb tension and walking ability of patients with spinal cord injury. 【Methods】 A total of 70 patients with spinal cord injury admitted and treated in our hospital from February 2015 to February 2017 were divided into the control group and the observation group according to the random number table method, with 35 cases in each group. All patients were given comprehensive rehabilitation therapy and lower limb rehabilitation robot assisted training. In addition to this, patients in the observation group were given hyperbaric oxygen therapy. The muscle strength and joint force of lower limbs were evaluated by the modified Ashworth scale (MAS) and lower limb rehabilitation robot feedback data, the walking ability, lower limb balance function and activity of daily living were evaluated by functional ambulation category scale (FAC), Berg balance scale (BBS) and modified Barthel index (MBI). 【Results】 The total effective rate of the patients in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group (P<0.05). The MAS scores of the adductor muscle, flexor knee, extensor and ankle flexion of the observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group after the treatment (P<0.05). The results of the robot feedback data showed that the force of the hip joint and the knee joint in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group (P<0.05), and the level of walking function and balance of lower limbs were significantly better than those of control group (P<0.05). However, there was no significant difference in MBI scores between the two groups after treatment (P>0.05). 【Conclusion】 The combination of hyperbaric oxygen and lower limb rehabilitation robot rehabilitation training can effectively improve the lower limb muscle tension and motor function in patients with spinal cord injury, and the clinical curative effect is remarkable.
