Abstract:【Objective】 To explore the application effect of bedside bicycle exercise combined with outpatient continuous nursing intervention in parturients after cesarean section. 【Methods】 A total of 120 parturients who underwent cesarean section in our hospital from January 2024 to October 2024 were selected and divided into control group (routine nursing intervention) and observation group (bedside bicycle exercise combined with outpatient continuous nursing intervention) by lottery method, with 60 cases in each group. The postoperative recovery, feeding patterns, psychological status [Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale (EPDS) score, General Well-Being Schedule (GWB) score], quality of life [Nottingham Health Profile (NHP) score] and complication incidence were compared between the two groups. 【Results】 The recovery time of bowel sounds, first exhaust time, lochia duration and hospital stay in the observation group were significantly shorter than those in the control group (P<0.05). After intervention, the breastfeeding rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, while the mixed feeding rate was lower (P<0.05). The GWB score of the observation group was higher and the EPDS score was lower than those of the control group (P<0.05). Each dimension score of NHP in the observation group was higher than that in the control group (P<0.05). The total incidence of complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group (P<0.05). 【Conclusion】 Bedside bicycle exercise combined with outpatient continuous nursing intervention can promote postoperative recovery of cesarean section parturients, increase the breastfeeding rate, improve maternal psychological state and quality of life, and reduce the incidence of complications.
