Abstract:【Objective】 To explore the effect of Xuefu Zhuyu Pills combined with conventional treatment on pain, sleep quality, cancer-related fatigue, and emotional state in patients with ovarian cancer undergoing postoperative chemotherapy.【Methods】 A total of 86 patients with ovarian cancer receiving postoperative chemotherapy were randomly divided into two groups, with 43 cases in each group. All patients received conventional anti-tumor and symptomatic supportive treatment, and the observation group was additionally given Xuefu Zhuyu Pills. Changes in pain intensity [Visual Analogue Scale (VAS)], sleep quality [Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI)], cancer-related fatigue (Chinese version of the Revised Piper Fatigue Scale score), and emotional state [Self-rating Depression Scale (SDS) and Self-rating Anxiety Scale (SAS) scores] were compared between the two groups before and after intervention.【Results】 After 2 and 3 cycles of chemotherapy, the VAS scores in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). After the end of chemotherapy, the PSQI score in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group (P<0.05). The scores of all items in the Piper Fatigue Scale, SDS, and SAS in both groups were lower than those before chemotherapy (P<0.05), and the observation group had lower scores than the control group (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups (P>0.05).【Conclusion】 Xuefu Zhuyu Pills combined with conventional treatment can effectively relieve pain, improve sleep quality, reduce cancer-related fatigue, and alleviate negative emotions such as depression and anxiety in patients with ovarian cancer during postoperative chemotherapy, which is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
