Abstract:【Objective】To explore the effect of pain intervention measures based on the multidisciplinary team collaboration model on the sleep quality of patients after laparoscopic gastrointestinal surgery. 【Methods】 A total of 96 patients who underwent laparoscopic gastrointestinal surgery in our hospital from March 2021 to March 2024 were selected. The patients were divided into the observation group (with pain intervention measures based on the multidisciplinary team collaboration model) and the control group (receiving conventional postoperative care) by the random number table method, with 48 cases in each group. The surgical indicators (postoperative ambulation time, hospital stay, postoperative exhaust, recovery of bowel sounds and the time of first defecation), pain degree [Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) score], Self-Rating Depression Scale (SDS) score, Self-Rating Anxiety Scale (SAS) score and Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) score of the two groups of patients were compared. 【Results】At 12 hours after the operation, 24 hours after the operation and at discharge, the VAS scores of the observation group were all lower than those of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The time of getting out of bed for activities, hospital stay, postoperative exhaust, recovery of bowel sounds and the time of the first defecation in the observation group were all shorter than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). At discharge and one month after the intervention, the PSQI scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). At discharge, the SAS scores and SDS scores of both groups were lower than those before the operation, and those of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). 【Conclusion】The pain intervention measures of the multidisciplinary team collaboration model can reduce the pain degree of patients after laparoscopic gastrointestinal surgery, improve the postoperative sleep quality of patients, and accelerate the recovery process of patients.
