Abstract:【Objective】To explore the application effect of a problem-oriented nursing intervention program in patients with lung cancer undergoing chemotherapy.【Methods】A total of 96 patients receiving chemotherapy for lung cancer were randomly divided into the observation group (receiving problem-oriented nursing intervention) and the control group (receiving routine nursing care), with 48 cases in each group. Pulmonary function, psychological resilience, and cancer-related fatigue were compared between the two groups on the day of admission and one day before discharge.【Results】 On the day of admission, there were no statistically significant differences between the two groups in terms of pulmonary function indicators, scores on the Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale (CD-RISC), or Cancer-Related Fatigue Scale (CRF) (P>0.05). One day before discharge, all pulmonary function indicators and CD-RISC scores in both groups were significantly improved compared to those on the day of admission (P< 0.05), while CRF scores were significantly decreased (P<0.05). Moreover, all indicators in the observation group were significantly better than those in the control group (P<0.05).【Conclusion】The implementation of a problem-oriented nursing intervention program can improve pulmonary function, psychological resilience, and cancer-related fatigue in patients, and is worthy of clinical promotion.
