| The Effect of Otilonium Bromide Combined with Helicobacter Pylori Eradication Therapy on Gastrointestinal Hormone Levels in Patients with Functional Dyspepsia |

Abstract 【Objective】To explore the effect of otilonium bromide combined with Helicobacter pylori (HP) eradication therapy on gastrointestinal hormone levels in patients with functional dyspepsia (FD).【Methods】A total of 88 FD patients were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group, with 44 cases in each group. Patients in the control group received HP eradication therapy, while those in the observation group received otilonium bromide combined with HP eradication therapy. The clinical efficacy, adverse reactions, gastrointestinal hormone levels, gastric motility indicators, and changes in quality of life before and after treatment were compared between the two groups.【Results】The total effective rate in the observation group was 95.45%, which was higher than that of the control group (79.54%,P<0.05). After treatment, the gastrointestinal hormone levels and gastric motility in both groups significantly improved compared to before treatment, and the improvement in the observation group was better than that in the control group (P<0.05). After treatment, the quality of life scores in both groups increased compared to before treatment, while the score of quality of life in the observation group was higher than that in the control group (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups (P>0.05).【Conclusion】Otilonium bromide combined with HP eradication therapy significantly improves gastrointestinal hormone levels, gastric motility indicators, clinical efficacy, and quality of life in FD patients, with a certain level of safety.
