Abstract  【Objective】To explore the clinical value of Qingre Liangxue Decoction combined with narrow-band ultraviolet (NB-UVB) in the treatment of vitiligo showing blood deficiency and wind-heat type. 【Methods】 A total of 90 patients with vitiligo who visited Yangling Demonstration Area Hospital dermatology clinic from January 2017 to September 2021 were selected as the study subjects. Patients were divided into the observation group and the control group according to the random number table method, with 45 cases in each group. Patients in the control group were treated with NB-UVB, and patients in the observation group were treated with Qingre liangxue Decoction on the basis of the control group. The treatment period of both groups was 6 weeks. The treatment effects and adverse reactions during the treatment were compared between the two groups of patients. The scores of TCM syndromes, CXC chemokine ligand 16 (CXCL16), transforming growth factor-β1 (TGF-β1), Interleukin-26 (IL-26) and T lymphocytes (CD4+, CD8+ and CD4+/CD8+) were compared between the two groups before and after treatment. 【Results】The total effective rate of the observation group was 93.33%, which was significantly higher than that of the control group 77.78% (P<0.05).The scores of local leukoplakia, pale complexion, loss of appetite, dizziness, palpitations, insomnia, and fatigue after treatment in the two groups were significantly lower than those before treatment (P<0.05).After treatment, the observation group's local leukoplakia, pale complexion, loss of appetite, dizziness, palpitations, insomnia, and fatigue scores were significantly lower than those of the control group (P<0.05).The levels of CXCL16, TGF-β1 and IL-26 after treatment in the two groups were significantly lower than those before treatment (P<0.05). After treatment, levels of CXCL16, TGF-β1, and IL-26 in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). CD4+, CD4+/CD8+ after treatment in the two groups were significantly higher than those before treatment, while CD8+ was significantly lower than before treatment (P<0.05).After treatment, CD4+, CD4+/CD8+ in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group, while CD8+ in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group (P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups during treatment (P>0.05). 【Conclusion】The combination of Qingre Liangxue Decoction and NB-UVB has a good therapeutic effect in the treatment of blood deficiency and wind-heat type vitiligo. It can effectively relieve the patient's clinical symptoms, inhibit inflammation, regulate immune function, and has good safety.
