Correlation Analysis of Umbilical Artery Blood Flow Parameters and Serum SP1 with the Degree of Umbilical Cord around the Neck at Late Pregnancy |

Abstract 【Objective】 To investigate the relationship between the maximum systolic/diastolic umbilical artery blood flow velocity (S/D), pulsatility index (PI), resistance index (RI) and serum pregnancy specificity β1 glycoprotein (SP1) with the degree of umbilical cord around the neck. 【Methods】 From February 2019 to May 2020, 90 late pregnant women (observation group) who received prenatal ultrasound examination in the Yichuan County People's Hospital in Shaanxi Province and had fetal umbilical cord around the neck for one week were selected. In addition, 100 healthy pregnant women (control group) who received prenatal ultrasound examination in the Affiliated Hospital of Yan'an University in Shaanxi Province in the same period were selected. The depth of umbilical cord around neck impression, umbilical artery S/D, PI, RI and serum SP1 levels were compared between the two groups; Pearson was used to analyze the correlation between umbilical artery blood flow parameters, serum SP1 level and the depth of fetal umbilical cord around the neck indentation in the observation group. 【Results】 Compared with the control group, the umbilical artery S/D, PI, RI in the observation group were significantly increased (P<0.05), and the serum SP1 level was significantly decreased (P<0.05); When the depth of fetal umbilical cord around the neck indentation is less than 0.60 cm, 0.60~0.79 cm, ≥0.80 cm, the umbilical artery S/D, PI, RI of pregnant women increase in turn (P<0.05), and the serum SP1 level decreases in turn (P<0.05). The S/D, PI, RI of umbilical artery in the observation group were positively correlated with the depth of umbilical cord around the neck (r=0.587, 0.529, 0.657, P<0.05), and the serum SP1 level was negatively correlated with the depth of umbilical cord around the neck (r=-0.538, P<0.05). 【Conclusion】 The increase of S/D, PI, RI of umbilical artery and the decrease of serum SP1 level in late pregnancy women with fetal umbilical cord around the neck are closely related to the degree of fetal umbilical cord around the neck.
