Abstract  【Objective】To observe the clinical characteristics of hypertension with chronic kidney disease and simple hypertension.【Methods】A total of 40 patients with hypertension complicated with chronic kidney disease in our hospital were selected as the observation group, and 40 patients with simple hypertension were selected as the control group. The blood pressure parameters, blood pressure variability and blood pressure load value of all patients [daytime systolic blood pressure (SBP), nighttime SBP, 24h average value of SBP, daytime diastolic blood pressure (DBP), nighttime DBP and 24h average value of DBP], the blood pressure types and heart rate variability indexes of the two groups were measured and compared between the two groups[standard deviation of all sinus beats in R-R interval (SDNN), standard deviation of the average value of N-N interval every 5 minutes (SDANN), square root of the difference between two adjacent N-N intervals (RMSSD), and the proportion of heart beats with the difference between two adjacent R-R intervals >50 ms in the total number (pNN50)].【Results】The SBP and DBP at night in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).The variability of SBP and DBP in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).The night SBP load value and night DBP load value of the observation group were higher than those of the control group (P<0.05).The number of non-dipper blood pressure cases in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group, and the number of reverse dipper blood pressure cases in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).The SDNN, SDANN, RMSSD and PNN50 of the observation group were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).【Conclusion】Blood pressure parameters, load values at night, blood pressure rhythm, blood pressure variability, heart rate variability of hypertension patients with chronic kidney disease are all different from essential hypertension, which can be used as a reference for the corresponding treatment of patients with hypertension and chronic kidney disease.
