Abstract 【Objective】To summarize the new pneumoconiosis cases in Nanjing from 2009 to 2019 and analyze their distribution characteristics. 【Methods】The data was collected in January 2020. The relevant file information of patients admitted to hospital for treatment was retrieved through the "Health Hazard Factors Information Monitoring System" platform to analyze new cases of pneumoconiosis occurred in Nanjing from 2009 to 2019. According to statistics and summary of the case data, a total of 141 cases were included in this investigation. The distribution characteristics of new pneumoconiosis was analyzed. 【Results】The distribution characteristics of new pneumoconiosis in Nanjing from 2009 to 2019 were:males were predominant, the onset of working years was concentrated between 5-35 years, the predominant type of silicosis was mainly concentrated in the first stage, and the age of onset of most cases was between the ages of 70 and 80. The type of work was mainly pure excavator, followed by electric welders, and the type of enterprise is mainly state-owned, Enterprises as a whole have contributed insufficient efforts toward pneumoconiosis health education. 【Conclusion】The distribution characteristics of new pneumoconiosis(such as type of work, type of disease, etc.) in the period from 2009 to 2019 in Nanjing are obvious. Efforts to take targeted prevention and intervention measures should be intensified.
