Abstract  【Objective】To analyze the clinical effect of plasma exchange(PE) combined with continuous blood purification(CBP) in the treatment of patients with liver failure(HF). 【Methods】A total of 84 HF patients were divided into two groups; the observation group (n=42 cases, the implementation of PE+CBP) and the control group (n=42 cases, comprehensive intervention of PE treatment). Clinical curative effect, blood biochemical indexes, liver function, cytokines, and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. 【Results】The effective rate of the observation group was 83.33% (35/42), which was significantly higher than that of the control group 69.05% (29/42), and the difference was significant (P<0.05).TBIL,ALT,AST,PTA, ALB, TBA and CHE in the two groups were significantly improved after treatment (P<0.05). The improvement in the observation group was significantly better than that in the control group (P<0.05). The levels of TNF- alpha and cytokine IL-6 in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group, and the difference between the two groups was significant (P<0.05). The effective rate of observation group was significantly higher than that of control group (P<0.05). The adverse reaction rate in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group (P<0.05). 【Conclusion】 PE combined with CBP can effectively improve liver function, relieve symptoms, remove inflammatory factors, and reduce complications in patients with liver failure.
