Effect of Bifidobacterium Tetrad, Zinc Glycyrrhiza Combined with Racecadotril on Diarrhea caused by Rotavirus Infection and its Influence on Serum Inflammatory Factors and Myocardial Enzymes in Children |

Abstract 【Objective】To investigate the effect of Bifidobacterium tetrad living bacteria, zinc Glycyrrhiza combined with racecadotril in the treatment of diarrhea caused by rotavirus infection and the effect on serum inflammatory factors and myocardial enzymes in children.【Methods】A total of 136 children with diarrhea due to rotavirus infection who were treated in our hospital from March 2017 to October 2018 were randomly divided into control group and observation group with 68 cases in each group. The control group was treated with live Bifidobacterium tetrad and zinc glycyrrhiza. The observation group was treated with racecadotril on the basis of the control group. Both groups were treated for 3 days. The improvement time of clinical symptoms and signs (antifebrile time, dehydration correction time, stool recovery time, virus negative time, etc.) and serum inflammatory factors (IL-6, TNF-alpha, CRP) and serum myocardial enzymes (LDH) were compared between the two groups. The changes of creatine phosphate kinase (CK), creatine phosphate kinase isoenzyme (CK-MB) and alpha-hydroxybutyrate dehydrogenase (HBDH) were compared between the two groups. 【Results】Before treatment, there was no significant difference in the observation indexes between the two groups (P>0.05). After treatment, the improvement time of clinical symptoms and signs (antipyretic time, dehydration correction time, stool recovery time, virus negative time) in the observation group was shorter than that in the control group (P<0.05); the indexes of serum inflammatory factors (IL-6, TNF-a, CRP) and myocardial zymogram (LDH, CK, CK-MB, HBDH) in the two groups were improved compared with those in the same group before treatment. The improvement degree of the observation group was better than that of the control group (P<0.05), and the total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group (P<0.05). 【Conclusion】Bifidobacterium tetrad, zinc Glycyrrhiza combined with racecadotril in the treatment of infantile rotavirus-infected diarrhea can improve the clinical efficacy, improve the prognosis of the disease, alleviate the clinical symptoms and signs of children, reduce the degree of inflammation, reduce the level of myocardial enzymes, which is worthy of clinical application.
