Abstract 【Objective】To explore the application of synchrotron radiation phase contrast imaging in the study of rat brain microvascular network.【Methods】Five SD rats were perfused without contrast medium to obtain brain, and then scanned and imaged based on synchrotron radiation phase contrast imaging technology. Multidimensional multi-plane reconstruction was performed using filtering algorithm and imaging software.【Results】A complete visualization system from projection map, two-dimensional slice to 3D image of whole cerebrovascular network was established. The skeleton of whole cerebrovascular network was further extracted and the rendered images of different color levels were obtained. 【Conclusion】The establishment of brain microvascular visualization system provides a new imaging basis for multi-plane and multi-angle analysis of 3D blood supply distribution in the whole brain and local target areas, and provides a powerful technical support for the study of cerebrovascular diseases.
