Abstract  【Objective】To explore the correlation between electrocardiogram QT interval and ventricular arrhythmia in patients with variant angina pectoris. 【Methods】The clinical data of 74 patients with variant angina pectoris in our hospital were retrospectively analyzed. According to the corrected QT interval between attack and non-attack, the patients were divided into observation group (shortened QT interval, n=34) and control group (normal QT interval, n=40). The ventricular premature systolic load, the proportion of ventricular tachycardia, the value of QT and the therapeutic effect were compared between the two groups.【Results】The proportion of premature ventricular systolic load and ventricular tachycardia in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, while the value of QT and LVEF were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). The effective rate of the observation group was 52.94% (18/34), which was significantly lower than that of the control group 80.00% (32/40). There was a significant difference between the two groups (χ2=6.141,P=0.013<0.05). Pearson linear correlation analysis showed that shortened QT interval was significantly correlated with ventricular arrhythmia in patients with variant angina pectoris (r=0.46,P=0.035<0.05). 【Conclusion】The proportion of premature ventricular systolic load and ventricular tachycardia increase significantly in patients with variant angina with shortened QT interval, and the effect of antiarrhythmic therapy is poor. Clinicians should give timely and effective treatment as soon as possible according to the results of relevant electrocardiogram examination.
