| Analysis of the Present Situation and Influencing Factors of Local Drug Use in the Eyes of Inpatients with Ophthalmopathy |

Abstract 【Objective】To investigate the current situation and influencing factors of local drug use in ophthalmopathy patients in a hospital, to provide basis for clinical improvement of health education model.【Methods】A self-designed questionnaire was used to analyze the knowledge-attitude-behavior of local drug use in 156 patients with eye diseases in a Grade 3A hospital.【Results】The scores of knowledge dimension were excellent (33.33%), positive attitude (25.64%) and positive behavior (26.28%). There were significant differences between different education level and hospitalization days on the scores of knowledge (P<0.05), no effect on the scores of attitude and behavior was observed(P>0.05), and gender only had influence on the scores of behavior (P<0.05). Age, occupation, marital status, financial status, long-term residence were not correlated with local medication and knowledge, belief and practice (P>0.05).【Conclusion】 The related knowledge, attitude and behavior of local drug use in ophthalmopathy patients are still insufficient, especially in the aspects of eye drop technique and its management. It is suggested that the health education model of local safe drug use should be established for the patients with eye diseases.
