| Application Effect of Psychological Intervention Guided by Need Satisfaction Theory in Patients with Recurrent Implantation Failure in Assisted Reproduction |

Abstract 【Objective】To explore the application effect of psychological intervention guided by need satisfaction theory in patients with recurrent implantation failure (RIF) in assisted reproduction. 【Methods】A total of 82 RIF patients admitted to our center from April 2024 to February 2025 were selected and divided into the observation group (receiving psychological intervention guided by need satisfaction theory on the basis of routine nursing) and the control group (receiving routine nursing) according to the random number table method, with 41 cases in each group. The mental health status [assessed by Symptom Checklist (SCL-90)], psychological resilience [assessed by Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale (CD-RISC)], fertility-related quality of life [assessed by Fertility Quality of Life Questionnaire (FertiQoL) scores] before and after intervention, as well as the number of retrieved oocytes, number of high-quality embryos, β-hCG positive rate and fetal heart confirmation rate were compared between the two groups. 【Results】 After intervention, the scores of all dimensions of SCL-90 in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the scores of all dimensions of CD-RISC and FertiQoL in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, with statistically significant differences (P<0.05). The number of retrieved oocytes, high-quality embryo rate, β-hCG positive rate and fetal heart confirmation rate in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, with statistically significant differences (P<0.05). 【Conclusion】 Psychological intervention guided by need satisfaction theory can effectively improve the mental health status, enhance the level of psychological resilience and fertility quality of life of RIF patients, and increase the embryo quality and early pregnancy success rate, which provides a new idea for the comprehensive management of RIF patients.
