| Clinical Efficacy of Hayman Uterine Compression Suture Combined with Hemabate in the Treatment of Postpartum Hemorrhage after Cesarean Section for Placenta Previa |

Abstract 【Objective】To explore the clinical efficacy of Hayman uterine compression suture combined with Hemabate in the treatment of postpartum hemorrhage after cesarean section for placenta previa. 【Methods】A total of 76 patients with postpartum hemorrhage after cesarean section for placenta previa admitted to our hospital from February 2023 to February 2025 were selected. According to different treatment methods, they were divided into the control group and the observation group. The control group was treated with Hayman uterine compression suture, while the observation group was treated with Hayman uterine compression suture combined with Hemabate. Surgical-related indicators, clinical efficacy, blood loss at different time points, coagulation function indexes [prothrombin time (PT), thrombin time (TT), activated partial thromboplastin time (APTT)], and occurrence of adverse events were compared between the two groups. 【Results】The hemostasis time and hospital stay of the observation group were shorter than those of the control group (P<0.05); the total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was higher than that in the control group (P<0.05); the intraoperative blood loss, blood loss at 2 h and 24 h after surgery in the observation group were less than those in the control group (P<0.05); at 24 h after surgery, PT, TT and APTT in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group (P<0.05); there was no statistically significant difference in the total incidence of adverse events between the two groups (P>0.05). 【Conclusion】Hayman uterine compression suture combined with Hemabate can effectively control the postoperative blood loss of patients with postpartum hemorrhage after cesarean section for placenta previa, improve coagulation function indexes, promote postoperative recovery, and has good safety.
