| Analysis of the Relationship between Serum Reproductive-Related Biomarker Levels and Fertility Index in Patients with Endometriosis |

Abstract 【Objective】To investigate the correlations between the levels of C1q/TNF-related protein 3 (CTRP3), Apelin, and inhibin B (INHB) in the serum of patients with endometriosis and their reproductive indices. 【Methods】From January 2022 to October 2024, 107 patients with endometriosis who visited our hospital were selected as the observation group, and 52 healthy women who underwent physical examinations in the same period at our hospital were selected as the control group. The levels of CTRP3, Apelin, and INHB in the serum of both groups were detected. The reproductive ability was evaluated using the reproductive index score. Spearman correlation analysis was used to analyze the correlations between the levels of CTRP3, Apelin, and INHB and the reproductive index. 【Results】The levels of CTRP3 and INHB in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group, while the level of Apelin was significantly higher than that in the control group. The differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The reproductive index of the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Correlation analysis showed that the level of Apelin was negatively correlated with the reproductive index score (rs=-0.584, P<0.05), while the levels of CTRP3 and INHB were positively correlated with the reproductive index (rs=0.795, 0.629, P<0.05). 【Conclusion】The abnormal expression of CTRP3, Apelin, and INHB in the serum of patients with endometriosis is related to the decline in reproductive ability. The levels of CTRP3, Apelin, and INHB in the serum may play a key role in the disease progression and the reduction of reproductive ability in patients with endometriosis, providing new ideas for future treatment strategies.
