Abstract  【Objective】 To explore the value of platelet aggregation rate and blood viscosity in predicting major adverse cardiovascular events (MACE) after percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) in patients with acute myocardial infarction (AMI). 【Methods】Ninety eight patients with acute myocardial infarction (AMI) who underwent PCI treatment in our hospital from March 2020 to February 2022 were selected. They were divided into an occurrence group (n=16) and a non occurrence group (n=82) based on the occurrence of MACE within 30 days after surgery. Comparing the clinical data, platelet aggregation rate, and blood viscosity of two groups of patients, logistic multiple regression analysis was used to identify the influencing factors of MACE occurrence after PCI. Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves were used to analyze the predictive value of platelet aggregation rate and blood viscosity on the risk of MACE occurrence in AMI patients after PCI. 【Results】The incidence of MACE in AMI patients after PCI is 16.33%. The left ventricular ejection fraction was lower in the occurrence group than in the non occurrence group, and the left ventricular end systolic volume, left ventricular end diastolic volume, platelet aggregation rate, and blood viscosity were higher in the occurrence group than in the non occurrence group, with statistically significant differences (P<0.05). Logistic multiple regression analysis showed that platelet aggregation rate and blood viscosity were both related factors affecting the occurrence of MACE in AMI patients after interventional surgery (P<0.05). The sensitivity, specificity, and AUC of platelet aggregation rate, blood viscosity, and their combined prediction of MACE after PCI were 68.75%, 75.00%, and 68.75%, 78.05%, 73.17%, and 97.56%, respectively, and 0.721, 0.748, and 0.887, respectively (P<0.05).【Conclusion】The combination of platelet aggregation rate and blood viscosity has a high predictive value for the occurrence of intracavitary MACE after AMI intervention.
