红花化瘀汤熏洗在膝关节镜术后康复中的应用

Abstract 【Objective】To explore the curative effect of Safflower Huayu Decoction on knee joint swelling, pain and other complications after arthroscopic surgery. 【Methods】 A total of 96 cases of the arthroscopic surgery patients from November 2016 ~ November 2019were randomly divided into the control group and the treatment group, with 48 cases in each group. Patients in the control group received routine rehabilitation treatment after arthroscopic surgery , while patients in the treatment group received traditional Chinese medicine Safflower Huayu (local fumigation and washing around knee) in addition to routine rehabilitation therapy. The course was 8 weeks in both groups. The swelling degree of knee joint, visual analogue scale (VAS) score and knee joint function score (HSS) were observed before rehabilitation, 4 weeks and 8 weeks after treatment. 【Results】After 4 and 8 weeks of treatment, the knee joint swelling value and VAS score of the treatment in the two groups of patients were significantly lower than before treatment (P<0.05); and those indicators in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). Afterwards there was no significant difference in the swelling value of the treated knee joint between the two groups (P>0.05), while the difference in VAS scores was still statistically significant (P<0.05). After 4 and 8 weeks of treatment, the HSS scores of the two groups were higher than before treatment (P<0.05), while the treatment group was higher than the control group (P<0.05). There was a statistically significant difference in HSS scores between the two groups at the end of the 4th week and the 8th week (P<0.05). 【Conclusion】The Safflower Huayu Decoction has a significant effect on the rehabilitation of patients after knee arthroscopy. It can relieve the swelling of the joints, improve the pain of the patients, improve the function of the knee joints, and is safe and free of adverse reactions. It is worthy of clinical application.
