Diagnostic Value of Ultrasonography in Neonatal Pulmonary Sequestration |

Abstract 【Objective】To investigate the value of ultrasonography in neonatal pulmonary sequestration. 【Methods】The clinical data of 22 children with PS diagnosed by postoperative pathology in Hunan children's Hospital from May 2019 to January 2021 were analyzed retrospectively. 【Results】Among the 22 children with PS, the lesions were unilateral, including 19 cases on the left and 3 cases on the right; the main ultrasonographic manifestations were solid masses in thoracic cavity or abdominal cavity in 20 cases and mixed cystic and solid masses in 2 cases, including 15 cases The blood supply was detected from the aorta (10 cases were from the thoracic aorta and 5 cases from the abdominal aorta); in the other 7 cases, the initial display of the blood supply artery of the mass was unclear in 3 cases, but the spectrum of the blood supply artery showed a high-speed and high resistance blood flow curve, suggesting that the blood supply artery came from the systemic circulation, and the display of the blood supply artery was unclear in 4 cases. There was no significant difference in the diagnostic rate of neonatal PS between ultrasound and enhanced CT(P>0.05). 【Conclusion】Ultrasonography can be used as an important auxiliary method for neonatal PS.
