Abstract  【Objective】To study the value of cardiac ultrasonography-related parameters in the evaluation of recurrence after radiofrequency ablation of atrial fibrillation (RAOAF). 【Methods】A total of 66 patients with RAOAF who were treated in our hospital from February 2016 to January 2018 were enrolled in the recurrence group (observation group) and the non-recurrent group (control group). Cox regression analysis were performed to reveal the influencing factors of recurrent atrial fibrillation after RAOAF.【Results】 Of the 66 patients, 32 had recurrence, accounting for 48.48%. The left atrial size and systolic peak velocity of the mitral annulus (s') in the observation group were significantly greater than those of the control group, while the peak velocity of the mitral annulus at late diastolic phase (A'), and the peak of early diastolic velocity (E') were significantly smaller than those of the control group. The differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). There were no significant differences in left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF), left ventricular size, left ventricular posterior wall thickness, and right ventricular anteroposterior diameter between the two groups (P>0.05). Multivariate Cox regression analysis showed that A′peak value was an independent risk factor of recurrence after RAOAF. 【Conclusion】Among the parameters related to cardiac ultrasound, A′peak value has certain reference value for the evaluation of postoperative recurrence of RAOAF, and is worthy of special attention.
