Abstract  【Objective】To analyze the diagnostic reference level (DRL) of CT scan radiation dose for children under 15 years old in a hospital. 【Methods】 The related literatures were analyzed, and the DRL values of different parts of the skull, chest and abdomen of children under 15 years old in a hospital were recorded. 【Results】DRL analysis of children under 15 years old: The DRL of CTDIvol was 62.3 mGy, higher than the average DRL of Chinese children and adolescents, the DRL of dose-length product (DLP) was 714.4 mGy, lower than the average DLP of Chinese children and adolescents, and the DRL of CTDIvol of chest CT scan was 7.4 mGy, higher than that of me. The average DRL of Chinese children and adolescents is 4 mGy, and that of DLP is 227.4 mGy, which was higher than that of Chinese children and adolescents. The average DRL of CTDIvol on abdominal CT scan was 10.4 mGy, which was higher than that of Chinese children and adolescents. The DRL of DLP was 395.1 mGy, which was lower than that of Chinese children and adolescents. 【Conclusion】 The overall level of DRL in CT scans of the head, chest and abdomen of children under 15 years old is higher than the national average level, so it is necessary to find out the reasons and optimize the low dose in the actual scans.
