通督调枢扶阳推拿联合基础干预对矮身材儿童生长发育及生活质量的影响<sup>*</sup>

Abstract 【Objective】 To investigate the effects of Tongdu Tiaoshu Fuyang Tuina combined with basic intervention on physical growth and quality of life in children with short stature. 【Methods】 A total of 60 children with short stature admitted to our hospital from June 2022 to June 2023 were enrolled and divided into control group and observation group by random number table, with 30 cases in each group. The control group received health education and intensive nutritional support, while the observation group was treated with Tongdu Tiaoshu Fuyang Tuina on the basis of the above basic interventions. The clinical efficacy, height increment, growth velocity, insulin-like growth factor-1 level, TCM syndrome scores and quality of life scores were compared between the two groups. 【Results】 The total clinical effective rate of the observation group was 86.67% (26/30), which was significantly higher than 46.67% (14/30) of the control group (χ²=10.800, P<0.05). The height increment and annual growth velocity in the observation group were superior to those of the control group (P<0.05). After treatment, serum insulin-like growth factor-1 levels increased and TCM syndrome scores decreased in both groups; the observation group obtained higher IGF-1 levels and lower TCM scores than the control group (P<0.05). The scores of school functioning, emotional functioning, physical functioning and social functioning were elevated in both groups after treatment, and the observation group achieved significantly higher scores (P<0.05). 【Conclusions】 Tongdu Tiaoshu Fuyang Tuina combined with basic intervention can significantly improve clinical efficacy, accelerate height growth, relieve TCM symptoms of spleen-kidney yang deficiency, and elevate the overall quality of life of children with short stature.
