Effects of Single Port Laparoscopic Surgery on Benign Ovarian Tumor |

Abstract 【Objective】analyze the effect of single port laparoscopic surgery on benign ovarian tumor. 【Methods】The clinical data of 68 patients with benign ovarian tumor admitted to our hospital from May 2016 to December 2018 were analyzed retrospectively. Patients were divided into two groups with 34 cases each: the control group was treated with porous laparoscopic surgery, the observation group was treated with single-hole (single port) laparoscopic surgery, and the clinical efficacy of the two groups was analyzed. 【Results】The postoperative exhaust time (13.20±1.33) h hospitalization time (2.70±1.46) d in the observation group was shorter than that in the control group (P<0.05); and the operative time (63.28±8.03) min was longer than that in the control group (P<0.05). However, the intraoperative blood loss and postoperative feeding time were not statistically significant (P>0.05). Preoperatively, there were no significant differences in the levels of ovarian function indexes, inflammatory factors indexes [C-reactive protein (CRP), tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α)], β-endorphin (β-ep), cortisol (Cor), human epididymal protein 4 (HE4) and follistatin (FS), (P>0.05). The level of TNF- α, CRP, β-ep, Cor, HE4 and FS in the observation group was lower than that in the control group (P<0.05), but the level of estradiol (E2), follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteinizing hormone (LH) was not statistically significant compared to that in the control group (P>0.05).There were 4 cases of abnormal menstruation in the observation group, with an incidence of 11.76% (4/34), and 12 cases of abnormal menstruation in the control group, with an incidence of 35.29% (12/34); comparison of abnormal menstruation rates in the two groups showed statistically significant difference (P<0.05). 【Conclusion】Single-port laparoscopic surgery for benign ovarian tumor can reduce postoperative exhaust time, reduce the level of inflammatory factors in patients, improve the menstrual status of patients, and does not have a significant impact on ovarian function.
