Correlation and Clinical Significance of Serum Cystatin C, Urinary Kidney Injury Molecule 1 with Contrast-Induced Nephropathy |

Abstract 【Objective】To investigate the correlation and clinical significance of serum cystatin C(Cys-C), urinary kidney injury molecule 1 (Kim-1) with contrast-induced nephropathy(CIN). 【Methods】A total of 43 patients with CIN admitted to our hospital were enrolled in the observation group, while 43 cases of healthy volunteers in the same period were selected as the control group. The differences in the expression levels of Cys-C and Kim-1 were compared between the two groups, and the correlation between clinical features and biochemical indicators was observed. 【Results】In terms of related factor levels, the levels of Cys-C and Kim-1 in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). The levels of Cys-C and Kim-1 in patients with CIN gradually increased with the severity of the disease. The levels of Cys-C and Kim-1 in severe patients were significantly higher than those in moderate and mild CIN patients (P<0.05). The levels of Cys-C and Kim-1 were higher in patients than in mild patients, and the differences were significant (P<0.05). Correlation analysis showed that gender, age, contrast agent dosage, Kim-1and Cys-C levels were were significantly correlated with the incidence of CIN (P<0.05). 【Conclusion】 Indicators such as Cys-C and Kim-1 are closely related to patients with CIN , which can reflect the severity of the disease and provide reliable evidence for the diagnosis and treatment of early disease.
