Abstract:【Objective】To explore the clinical application value of 3D Bravo combined with Cube Flair enhanced sequence in the diagnosis of small cerebral metastatic tumors. 【Methods】Seventy-five tumor patients with cerebral metastases admitted to our hospital from January 2022 to March 2024 were selected. Cranial enhanced FSE T1WI, 3D Bravo, and Cube Flair scans were performed on a 1.5T magnetic resonance imaging scanner. The number of small cerebral metastatic tumor lesions detected by the three enhanced sequences and the 3D Bravo combined with Cube Flair sequence were counted respectively, and the diagnostic results were confirmed through two or more consecutive follow-up reviews. 【Results】A total of 420 small cerebral metastatic tumor lesions were found in 75 patients. Among them, 279 metastatic tumor lesions were found by conventional FSE T1WI enhancement, with a detection rate of 66.4%; 339 metastatic tumor lesions were found by the 3D Bravo enhanced sequence, with a detection rate of 80.7%; 377 metastatic tumor lesions were found by the Cube Flair enhanced sequence, with a detection rate of 89.8%; and 402 metastatic tumor lesions were found by the 3D Bravo combined with Cube Flair enhanced sequence, with a detection rate of 95.7%. There were statistically significant differences in the detection rates of small cerebral metastatic tumor lesions among the FSE T1WI, 3D Bravo, Cube Flair enhanced sequences and the 3D Bravo combined with Cube Flair enhanced sequence (P<0.05). The Cube Flair sequence had false-positive cases in the follow-up diagnosis of cystic cerebral metastatic tumors. 【Conclusion】The 3D Bravo combined with Cube Flair enhanced sequence can significantly improve the detection rate of small cerebral metastatic tumor lesions, especially in the diagnosis of small metastatic tumors in the superficial area of the brain, which has significant clinical application value and can be an alternative sequence to the conventional FSE T1WI enhanced sequence.
