Abstract:【Objective】 To investigate the effect of routine prenatal health education training combined with prenatal delivery rehearsal practice on the success rate of primipara natural delivery and postpartum complications. 【Methods】 A total of 86 primiparas who were delivered in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of Beijing Huairou Hospital from September 2016 to September 2018 were enrolled in the study. They were divided into two groups according to the prenatal delivery education methods. Patients in the control group (n=44) received routine prenatal health education training before delivery, while patients in the observation group (n=42) practiced delivery rehearsal based on the training of the control group. The self-efficacy scale (GSES), depression self-assessment scale (SDS) and anxiety self-assessment scale (SAS) scores were compared between the two groups. The success rate of natural delivery and the incidence of postpartum complications in the two groups were compared as well. 【Results】 Compared to the control group, the total delivery process including the first, second and third phases, neonatal asphyxia rate, postpartum SDS and SAS scores of the observation group were decreased (P<0.05); While the natural delivery success rate and GSES were increased in the observation group (P<0.05). The incidence of postpartum hemorrhage, infection, urinary retention, milk deposition/stasis and total complication rate in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). 【Conclusion】 The prenatal management method of routine prenatal health education training combined with prenatal delivery rehearsal practice can effectively increase the success rate of primipara natural delivery, shorten the labor process and reduce the incidence of postpartum complications.
