Abstract:【Objective】 To investigate the changes and significance of myocardial enzymes in patients with delayed encephalopathy after acute carbon monoxide poisoning (DEACMP). 【Methods】 A total of 60 patients with acute carbon monoxide poisoning (ACMP) were enrolled in the study, including 33 patients with DEACMP ( group A) and 27 patients without DEACMP ( group B). Levels of serum myoglobin (Mb), troponin (cTnI), creatine kinase isoenzyme (CK-MB), lactate dehydrogenase (LDH), aspartate aminotransferase (AST) in the acute phase and DEACMP recovery period were detected and compared in the two groups.【Results】 The incidences of ST-T changes, atrioventricular block (I degree), and indoor block in group A were significantly higher than those in group B (P<0.05). There were no significant differences in QT interval prolongation, sinus bradycardia, atrial premature contraction, ventricular premature contraction, and atrial fibrillation rate between the two groups (P>0.05). In the acute phase, the of patients in A group serum Mb, cTnI, CK-MB and LDH levels in group A were significantly higher than those in group B (P<0.05). The levels of serum Mb, cTnI, CK-MB and LDH in the recovery of group A patients were significantly lower than those in the acute phase, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). 【Conclusion】 In the acute phase, the myocardial enzymology index of patients with DEACMP is significantly higher than that of patients with ACMP alone, and the abnormal rate of ECG monitoring results is increased. These indicators are helpful for early prediction and targeted treatment of DEACMP.
